11/25/2008 - SPA Members Receive recognition from the SEMS Board of Directors at the meeting of the SEMS Board.

11/25/2008 - SPA Members Receive recognition from the SEMS Board of Directors at the meeting of the SEMS Board.  SPA Members Kevin Burwell (EMT-I) and Jessica Anderson (Paramedic) were recognized for their actions in the first successful resuscitation of a cardiac arrest victim using the new Induced Hypothermia protocol.  The save, which was earlier this year, involved a complex patient removal from a construction site.  The patient survived in no small part to the excelloent care of these SPA members.  A Plaque, displayed at the meeting, will be hung at headquarters to recognize Kevin and Jessica.  Congratulations on a job well done!
