Minutes for Local 684 meeting on 15^th of January, 2008 19:08 – meeting called to order 19:14 – unanimous vote for donations for Babe Ruth Little League $425 + $200 (motion made my Kevin Burwell, seconded by Steve Speanburg) 19:16 – unanimous vote for donation to be made to Stamford L786 Burn Foundation $500 (motion made by Pete Kessler, seconded by Kevin Burwell) 19:17 – Vote for donation to Mill River Collaborative tabled until further details are made available 19:20 – Discussion about secondary health insurance. Discussion will be continued next meeting with additional information. 19:31 – Volunteers for the Negotiating Team are as follows:          -Kevin Burwell          -Pete Kessler          -Josh Baldwin          - Mike Mansi 19:34 – Discussion about Local 684 website 19:38 – Discussion about union t-shirts. New shirts to be in by next meeting at a charge of $10 per shirt. 19:40 – MDT placement issues in A-3 and A-6 made known to SEMS 19:41 – Motion made by Bill Ackley to renew contract with Funding & Development. Seconded by Mike Mansi.Possibility of purchasing ad space highlighting what we need funda raised for.19:49 – Motion made by Pete Kessler to amend original motion for union leadership to negotiate with F&D. 19:56 – Discussion about router/internet at medic stations 19:58 – Unanimous vote to accept Bob Voss back into the union. (Motion made by Bill Ackley, seconded by Eileen Brophy) 19:59 – Unanimous vote to renew contract with Bedard & Co. (motion made by Pete Kessler, seconded by Bill Ackley) 20:21 – Unanimous vote to donate $500 to Chris Sweeney for charity on behalf of his son.
